Brad Maddox (born Brett Wiese, November 4, 1984) is an American retired professional wrestler, best known for his time in WWE.
Early Career: Maddox began his professional wrestling career in the independent circuit. He trained at various wrestling schools.
WWE: He signed with WWE in 2012, initially working in their developmental territory, NXT.
Refereeing and Authority Figure: Maddox gained notoriety when he served as a WWE%20referee during a WWE Championship match at Hell in a Cell 2012, where he cost Ryback the title. This led to him becoming an on-screen authority figure.
Assistant General Manager/General Manager: Maddox held roles such as Assistant General Manager and later General Manager of Raw, engaging in storylines with various WWE superstars.
Departure from WWE: He was released from his WWE contract in 2015. The reason for his departure was due to an inappropriate comment he made during a dark match, addressing the audience as "pricks."
